and engulf perfection,
the mirror beckoning
with shapes so ideal
they are erotic.
He devours himself,
second by second,
an aesthetic autophagy –
bones, tendons, muscles;
then creates himself anew
flexing a muscle,
conjuring his moving image
for his own pleasure,
propelling up,
down,
everywhere
he finds himself.
